Kholane Chauke’s professional goal is to be part of the thought leadership in the Knowledge Management (KM) space; guided and driven by approaches which seek to align with the client’s business development priorities. In particular, co-developing KM solutions with clients to fast track best practice adaptation, continuous improvement, collaboration and raise business process “strategic IQ”. He has over 17 Years of experience – including overlaps in KM Strategy development and implementation of KM initiatives such ass Knowledge Harvesting and Transfer, Lessons Learned, Knowledge networks (Communities of practice and Expertise Finder database), Records and Document Management; Business Research, IT Project Management & Service Management. Kholane has worked in multinational companies such as EY, Anglo American and Anglo Platinum; National Researcher Council (National Research Foundation and Human Science Research Council) and is currently leading the Knowledge Management unit at the Industrial Development Corporation (IDC). Kholane holds a Masters of Information Science (University of Pretoria) and a Masters of Business Leadership (University of South Africa). Kholane is the Chair of the Interim Executive Committee of the KM SA Society.
